Gnocchi are plump Italian dumplings made from potatoes and flour. With plenty of nooks and crannies to soak up butter, this tasty pasta alternative makes a fabulous, fluffy accompaniment to steamed whole lobsters. Prepare a large batch for the freezer by spreading uncooked gnocchi on a baking sheet until firm, then transferring them to freezer bags to store for up to three months. To cook, simply add directly from frozen water to boiling water.
