Restaurant chain Chick-fil-A's popular Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing is a flavorful twist on ranch dressing. Benefitting from the addition of creamy avocado, spices and tart lime, this Southwestern-style dressing will liven up any salad. Since typical dressings aren't available in bottles, you'll have to make this zesty salad dressing yourself if you want to enjoy it at home. This recipe is adapted from the restaurant version and is great to keep on hand in the fridge.
Instead of putting together a bunch of herbs and spices, this version is simplified by using a package of ranch seasoning mix. These packs already contain the perfect mixture to create the typical ranch dressing taste. The wrap is mixed with mayonnaise, milk, a ripe fresh avocado, fresh coriander, lime juice, zest, chili powder and cumin. Everything is chopped in the food processor until a nice green color and a smooth consistency is achieved. If you prefer a thinner dressing, you can add additional milk and add additional fresh cilantro if you want a greener color.
