Nutritional yeast, or “nooch” for short, is a vegetarian dietary supplement with a pleasantly cheesy, nutty, and savory flavor. Rich in vitamin B-12 and protein, the flakes taste buttery but are lighter than butter and are naturally gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. As such, nutritional yeast is used in recipes and is popular as an ideal vegetarian support formula for those following special diets.

Nutritional yeast is made from a specially selected strain of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is available in large flakes that can be combined with an endless variety of spices and spices to create unique blends for various uses such as sauces, vegan cheeses and more.

This recipe is used here for popcorn, a popular lunchtime condiment application. It can be a multifunctional base, with the option to add your favorite dried herbs, chilies, seeds and more. Place your cores using your preferred method. With the exception of air popping, the oil used will help the nooch seasoning stick and add extra flavor to the final product.
