Loaded with oatmeal cookies, this oatmeal milkshake is crunchy, creamy, and decadent all at once. Crispy oatmeal cookies are crushed to complete this milkshake. To make them vegan, we substituted shortening for the butter. You can also buy and use vegan oatmeal cookies.
If you really want to take this to the next level, top with vegan whipped cream, more crushed cookies, and more caramel sauce. We've included links to all the recipes you need to make your own cookies, caramel sauce, and oat milk. But you can also buy all these ingredients in the store. You can also prepare it with non-vegan ingredients. It's a delicious milkshake either way.
This recipe makes enough for two milkshakes, but you can easily halve or double it to serve more or fewer people.
